An Afternoon with Wibi Soerjadi at Il Regalo

At Il Regalo, shopping has never been the whole story.

From the very beginning, our vision has been to create a place where carefully curated products and meaningful experiences exist side by side. A concept store where music, art, books, design and culture naturally come together, inviting people not only to discover beautiful products, but also to create lasting memories.

On 25 October 2025, that vision became reality in one of the most extraordinary ways imaginable.

In collaboration with Gentwoman, founded by Il Regalo's owner Raika, we had the honour of welcoming world-renowned pianist Wibi Soerjadi for an intimate live performance inside our Rotterdam store.

It was far more than a concert.

For our founder, Wibi's music has been part of her life since childhood. His performances sparked a lifelong appreciation for classical music and the emotional power of art. Years later, being able to invite him into the very store she had built was a true full-circle moment.

That evening, our shop transformed into a concert hall.

Surrounded by books, gifts, vinyl records and carefully curated interiors, guests experienced a performance unlike any traditional venue could offer. The atmosphere was personal, warm and intimate - exactly what Il Regalo was created for.

Because we believe experiences become even more meaningful when they happen in unexpected places.
